Research On The Open Discipline Competition Network Management Platform Based On PKM

The discipline competition has an important significance on strengthening the construction of campus atmosphere, promoting to foster the creative talents, and deepening reform of education and teaching. But together with a number of discipline competition into the universities, there are lots of problems in the discipline competition management, such as lack of scientific, standardized and systematic organization and management mechanisms. Furthermore, a lot of knowledge resources generated in the process of discipline competition are not fully utilized, because of the lack of unified management and sharing mechanisms. Especially a number of valuable tacit knowledge in these resources has not been fully excavated and used. And it's not beneficial for sustainable and healthy development of discipline competition and the sharing of knowledge.First of all, through literature analysis, we analyze the management of discipline competition and its inter-relate to knowledge management project (PKM), and design a open discipline competition management platform (DCMP) based on PKM, for the smooth development of discipline competition management and the sharing and management of competition resources. Meanwhile the DCMP provides a knowledge sharing and exchange network platform to other relevant personnel.Secondly, there is not yet complete network management platform for discipline competition, so reference method is used in the study. We refer to the idea of project management to manage the discipline competition and refer to Theory and Method of PKM to manage the knowledge in discipline competition. In addition, we learn from the method of network management platform constructed in other areas and the actual of the Provincial discipline competition with " the Teaching Skills Competition of Normal Major Students in Zhejiang " to design the DCMPAgain, the DCMP designs three subsystems to meet the actual needs of academic competition management:the first is the subsystem of information management that can achieve the function of manage and share the relevant information resources; The second is the subsystem of online assessment that makes experts can review the works of discipline competition in online; The last is the subsystem of competition management where the staff can manage related work in discipline competition. Besides every subsystem also has lots of corresponding management functions. According to web-based system development method, the functional modules of DCMP are realized basing on the design. And the DCMP has been applied in " the Teaching Skills Competition of Normal Major Students in Zhejiang". It meets the needs of actual work in the competition and expectations of the target.Finally, the effect of the DCMP is tested and analyzed, by using in two discipline competitions and the statistics data of Quantum Hang Road site statistics. This study, for management the discipline competition in online, sharing the competition knowledge, and construction a sound discipline competition management system, provides a good prototype system. Other competition organizations can learn from this study to establish the appropriate management system for other field of competition.
