The Design And The Realization Of A Swimming Competition Management System Of Capital Medical University

Sports competition is an extension of the sports course, it is widely hold incolleges and universities. Sports competition plays an important role to attract morepeople to participate in sports activities. Swimming course is a compulsory course forthe students in our university. In order to improve the students’ interest in practicing asports task, enrich the amateur sports cultural life of students and select someexcellent swimming athletes for our university, our university held swimmingcompetition two times in one year. Nowadays computer technology is more and morepopular and develops very fast. Our university needs a swimming competitionmanagement system in order to efficiently process the transaction of the competition,to save a large amount of manpower and time for the management, to avoid theunnecessary mistakes in manual processing, and to improve the quality of thecompetition management. The content of this research is to design a managementsystem for the swimming competition of the university.The swimming competition management system based on my school (CapitalMedical University) reality, combined with the characteristics of swimming and workdemand competition organization, focus on resolving the parameters of the organizersto customize the project name, track number, calculation methods, improve theflexibility and adaptability of the system. At the same time the order bookarrangement, performance ranking, the total score statistics work, make the artificialtissue original complicated arrangement of the work becomes simple and easyoperation, greatly reduce the labor intensity of the organizers, swimming managementbecomes simple, efficient, flexible. The swimming competition management system isdivided into three parts of the system design and the use of Visual Basic6softwaredesign of the system application part, the application of Dreamweaver software, usingMicrosoft Office Access webpage part2010design of the system database.Through the design and development of the swimming competition managementsystem, summarizes the development method of the competition management system,so that the swimming competition maximize the computer to play the role ofimproving the management level of competition, management quality and operatingefficiency. At the same time have the talent selection and training to help the schoolamateur sports teams, is conducive to the reform of PE teaching.
