Embedded Vehicle DVD Player DVD Video Design And Implementation

With the continuous development of China's automobile industry, people's location of vehicle entertainment has extended to different levels of understanding. People are no longer satisfied with the normal CD player, radio, tape player and other entertainment devices. They like DVD player better, which has better sound and picture quality. Taking the production and sales in the market in to account, vehicle and vehicle entertainment system's market is gradually expanding, and will have better prospect in the future.Currently, the core technology development of China's vehicle entertainment system is still in the early stage, while in developed countries, the vehicle entertainment system has been widely used. Neusoft Group has cooperated with Panasonic, Sony, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu and other companies for more than ten years, the core technology of vehicle entertainment system has been relatively mature, and been domestically leading.This paper is completed in the Neusoft Group, it mainly completes the design of DVD-Video media's playing control system and module division based on the existing vehicle platform. The author is mainly responsible for system design and detailed design of some modules, while also responsible for implementation promoting, management and operation of the entire development team, customers contact and communication and so on. This article involves as follows:1. The analysis of the background and significance of the theory and practical application leads to the research objectives and specific development contents. The current DVD-Video media players are mainly used in home DVD players, the application in vehicle is still in relatively early stage. But with the continuous development of the auto industry and the embedded technology, people have a higher demand for vehicle entertainment, especially for the better picture and sound. Therefore, the development of vehicle DVD-Video will have a relatively good prospect.2. The understanding of DVD-Video media specifications and embedded vehicle system's knowledge, which serves as the basis skill of the development, the system design, and the detailed design.3. Combined with the system hardware and software environment, the system's overall design can guide the subsequent detailed design and code implementation. The total system design includes the following aspects:①From the static point of view, we divide and define the core control module and sub-modules into three main components, including playing control module (NavigationTask), data reading module (TransferTask), decoder control module (DECTask), they coordinate well and ensure the normal operation of the system and the smooth video playing.②From the static point of view, we define the internal and external interfaces, so that modules can access and control each other, the interfaces will be the basis for the detailed design.③From the dynamic point of view, we define the playing control sequence to ensure that every module in the system operates well and cooperates with each other.4. The definition of playing and the detailed design of the key specification fields'control ensure that the DVD-Video is smoothly playing. Including the following aspects:①Design of playing control structure, definition of the start and the playing process, which ensure the successful completion of the media player.②Complete DVD-Video media specifications field Cell and VOBU design, so that the system can complete the specifications analysis, identify and control the media playing streaming, which ensure the movie's smooth playing.③In order to ensure the movie's continuous playing, we have been devoted to discuss and design the control methods of the PCI information in DVD-Video media specifications, and found a good solution to the problem of data buffering.④In order to protect the property rights of DVD-Video media, the media needs to be pre-decoded before playing to ensure that the disc in the DVD player can play normally.5. Test the results of to ensure the product quality.Code writing and debugging is carried out in Windows xp, followed by the GCC compiler, testing the final code is carried out in the embedded DVD player. Test is divided into three categories: unit testing, integration testing, system testing, the three tests ensure the quality of results finally.This work makes the existing vehicle platform support DVD-Video media player, enhances video and audio output, adds the entertainment features to the vehicle platform, and then improves the platform's competitiveness to some extent.The results of this paper make the existing vehicle platform play DVD-Video, The development experience and assets of this paper include the system architecture approach of MiddleWare modular, the key specification fields'analysis and control method, data buffer solution that makes the movie playing smoothly, the relevant contents can serve as the references for subsequent development of mass production.
