The soaring data concluded that exhibitionindustry has become an important engine of stimulating economic growth through the past30-years, and it was one of the fastest developments and most potential industries in China.This article aims to exploit the new industry between two different areas, and find out thedesign and implementation of information management system in exhibition industry.This article takes the example for "global online conference registration system (CRS)" inSICMO which is the part of organization of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration. Itfocuses on the information management system in exhibition industry. Through the projectdevelopment and practical use within the exhibition industry, the article will achieve mutuallinkage by finding meeting point between computer information and industry development.The main contents are as below,Firstly, through analysis of Struts, Spring and DWR, explain Java platform is feasiblyused as a platform for the development.The comparison of Java and.Net finds Java's fast, safe and efficient characteristics, verifiesthe platform's reliability, to lay the foundation for the development.Secondly, based on the existing information system project analysis found the relevantsystem is good or bad. Research of participants and operators finds the existing systemoperation defects as well as the lack of humanity and other shortcomings in order to improvethe system.And then focuses on the system SQL2008database were analyzed, according to thedatabase's own characteristics and combined with the specific requirements of the Convention and exhibition industry, with the database entity relationship diagrams, demonstrate the use ofSQL2008database can fully meet the needs of the project features and development needs.Then the better system CRS will be developed based before analysis.At the end, after summary of the" global online registration system (CRS)", the paperalso investigates future prospects.The work improved the system operation to be simpler,clearer, and more effective of statistics analysis.
