Expert System Of Special Equipment Major Hazard Identification

Special equipment is important national infrastructures, and closely related to social and economic activities. Due to the particularity of special equipment, it often causes people's lives and property great loss when a major accident occurs. With a lot of special equipment, correctly and reasonably identifying major hazards, targeted making protective measures and strengthening the supervision as well, is fundamental measure to prevent all kinds of great accidents effectively. At present, although there are many methods on the hazard identification, but still no specific hazard identification expert system. In this paper, for the purpose of special equipment major hazard identification, designs a special expert system for major hazard identification using an expert system tool.This paper first introduces the background of special equipment major hazard identification and the research status at home and abroad, pointing out the main problems in identification. Second, this paper introduces the basic knowledge of expert system briefly, making people got a basic understanding of expert system, and explores the construction method of expert system. And then by reading literature related to the special equipment and discussing with domain experts, collects a lot of special equipment knowledge, at the same time, designs the structure of expert system, studies CLIPS, a kind tool for expert system, mainly about his composition, operation mechanism and knowledge representation method. Finally, after the master plan for the expert system, this paper successfully achieves embedding CLIPS expert system tool in Visual C++ to develop the system shell with CLIPS dynamic link method, encodes the summary of knowledge into the expert system's knowledge base, realizes the expert system, and successfully carry out the special equipment of major hazard identification.
