Research And Realization Of Mobile Police System For Zhaotong City

Currently, the Police Integrated Information System of Zhaotong City has been established. It is an effective information technology support method for all kinds of polices to carry out police affairs and reflects the overall technical advantages of police training. Based on the integrated information system, this paper studied the application of an mobile police system for Zhaotong city. This mobile system satisfies the standards of Ministry of Public Security, provides convenient and real-time tasks of police information query, data collection and entry in order to meet the sudden public security operation, mobility and emergency requirements. The mobile police system would become an effective information method for creating a harmonious and stable security environment.By integrating the wired, wireless communications, information networks and mobile devices, the system will create a new mobile application platform for all kinds of polices to complement each other and to establish a dynamic operation system. their polices to interact and communicate effectively under mobile circumstances, in order to improve the function of fighting crimes and promote the construction of public security information systems. Followings are the main contents of this paper:(1) In this paper, based on multi-level C/S structure, we develop a mobile police information system. The system uses mobile phones as the terminal equipments, GPRS/CDMA1X wireless network as the bearer, existing database of public security as the support background to provide remote online visit, real-time inquiry, data collection, and other functions.(2) Take the application of Zhaotong City mobile police information system as an example, in this paper, we analyze the system's operational needs and security requirements, describe the key technologies and solutions for the system's establishment, including system software and hardware platform design, business component interface design, data structure and data storage mode, software platform and system security design. Additionally, a few illustrations are presented. Finally, we conclude this paper and present some directions for future research.(3) With the mobile system, polices can use mobile phone conveniently visit the databases and websites of the Public Security Department to get information support. When investigating, arresting and handling emergency incidents, through the mobile police system, they can easily and quickly access to the information of resident population, temporary population, focused population, escaped suspects, vehicle database, etc. The system can greatly enhance the capacity of using information technology and the efficiency of capturing criminal suspects.
