Study On Management And Utilization Of Ruins Museums

Ruins Museums are theme museums built to protect historical ruins and with function to propagate history and cultures. As with a large proportion in the museums in our country, they are much valued by visitors. With the gradual maturity of development of cultural museums nowadays, ruins museums are facing challenges of transformation from traditional patterns to modern ones. Therefore, it becomes an important urgent issue to apply new management approaches and service theories to the practical work of ruins museums in pursuit of development.As a ruins museum, Dagu Fort Ruins is with high ruins and historical value to receive much concern of all circles. Therefore, an original intention of this thematic study of the author is to make in-depth research on Dagu Fort Ruins Museum construction with the help of study on management and utilization of ruins museums; to better play its role as a patriotism education base by scientific management and effective utilization.In this paper, the author made in-depth analysis centering on study on management and utilization of ruins museums while combining closely the working status; by fully exploiting research results in this field at home and abroad, attempted to make breakthrough in practical application of research on ruins museums so as to facilitate the establishment of a brand new museum management & utilization work model for Dagu Fort Ruins Museum. It is hopeful that the research results would be significant reference for ruins museums in their work management and propaganda & education optimization and improvement.
