Court information system is the key software for the courts. Based on different understanding of information security, the access control in the court information systems is emphasized in various ways. This forms a threat to the security of court information systems. In this paper, we discuss the access control mechanism for the court information system and focus on its implementation.Based on the dynamic keystrokes, the password-hardening technology has combined text-type passwords with keystrokes, and strengthens the password security. In this paper, this kind of technology is applied to the court information system. The discussion is divided into two stages, registration phase and login phase. With C++ Builder 6.0 and OpenSSL library as the development tools, we simulate the access control system with enhanced security. We propose an improvement to the existing technology. The data structure of IT indicator tables is extended from (2×l-1)×2 to (2×l-1)×6, where l is the pass- word length. And the updating conditions are modified in a proper way. Password security strength is increased from. When l takes the value of 6, compared with the original password-hardening scheme and the traditional text-type password scheme, the security of the improved scheme increases nearly 10 times and 225 times, respectively. With the increase of value for l, security is enhanced in a much better way (in the case of l = 10, it is raised for about 49 times and 11580 times, respectively).Although the data structure of IT is a little larger, and leads inevitably to more complexity for the program design and higher calculation cost, we get a much sounder password.
