Research And Realization Of Atc Communication Coverage Optimization Based On Voice Singal Voter

Nowadays, VHF communication system and HF communication systems are mainly used by CAAC air traffic control. As we all know, VHF communication system which is a traditional analog voice communications, compared to modern digital communications, there are many technical limitations. But it has the equipment stability, mostly used in airborne equipment and other factors, so in air traffic control communications it has still dominant and comprehensive application.This issue is based on that situation. In the existing analog communication system, a more advanced DSP technology and voice-voter based site simulation technology is used to optimize ATC air-ground communications, which involves the system signal matching and station layout optimization. The main subject of study is to realize an embedded system and achieve some remote stations to get the best signal selection. The solution is based on the actual needs of VHF communication of the E-ATMB ACC Project, combines with the applications of voice-voter device and the layout optimizing of the VHF stations and achieve good results. In this paper, the following work is completed:1.Research and implementation of basic solution2.Peripheral circuit design and matching3.Studying the layout of the sites in system4.System implementation and experimental testExperiments prove that this method can potent increase VHF coverage of communication system especially in air traffic control field, and it allows the existing equipment to be continued. Also it overcomes the disadvantages of inefficient utilization of switching communications site when works under traditional situation especially in a large control sector. Overall, this technology of Voice Voter implements a Best-Signal-Selected ATC air-ground communication system, which has a strong practical value.
