The Design And Implementation Of Tianjin Port Commercial Bonded Warehousing Business Management System

Tianjin Port Commercial Bonded Warehouse (referred to as CBW for short),which is the first Joint venture of commercial bonded warehouse in China,is cooperated by Tianjin Port Group and Royal Nedlloyd Group. CBW was formally operated in May 1998,and has become an integrated logistics enterprise, which can provide customers many kinds of services as bonded warehouse, international freight forwarding, container transport, automotive commercial trade, continental bridge transport, etc.This paper mainly studies the needs of CBW business and operational processes, designs and developments Tianjin Port Commercial Bonded Warehouse Business Management System (CBWMS), which includes import modules, export modules, container management modules, billing modules and warehouse modules as the main function modules. By analyzing the needs of CBW's business, we design the overall architecture and the function of logical structure and deployment structure,application structure, and fully consider the flexibility and convenience of customers in designing process. At controlling data , entrying plan, billing information management and real-time of system data,etc.the system has reached CBW's requirements of information transformation,substantially reduced operating costs of CBW,effectively solved the drawbacks of the legacy system and improved the management level and service quality of CBW.With continuous improvement in running,the system has covered virtually all areas of bonded warehouse business.Up to now,CBWMS has been operating in CBW for five years.With the application deepening,CBWMS will further refine and improve on accounting system profit, statistical analysis for senior and web service of customer,etc.
