Grid as the third generation of the Internet to try all of the resources will be fully connected network, sharing resources, elimination of resource islands. The main task of the grid is dynamically changing network environment, shared resources and collaborative problem-solving, grid resource discovery mechanism also appears to be particularly critical.Resource discovery in the previous model, people pay more attention to the resource matching and scheduling parameters, such as resources can ensure the completion of the time, cost and so on. Typical algorithms are Min-min algorithm, Max-min algorithm, Suffrage algorithm, In the resource discovery mechanism for optimization of the relevant information is very littlel. refering to VOD on demand technology This paper presents a resource discovery mechanism based on buffer and pre-selection with the combination of Peer-to-Peer (P2P), Local Theory and Grid Resource Management under grid environment. The most significant innovation of our work is the efficient application of buffer and pre-selection in resource discovery of leveled grid. This paper also proposes a resource discovery algorithm based on the model mentioned above. The network structure based on this model could effectively adapt to the complexity, heterogeneity and scalability of the grid resource.Finally, the use of Gridsim simulation toolkit, improvements achieved with this algorithm through the relevant java package and Visual Moduler. This paper systematic compare and analyze many data in simulation results.Our experiments prove that the mechanism could shorten the average response time and optimize the resource discovery efficiency in the mean time.
