Research And Realization Of Innovation Knowledge Expression And Search Based On Function Ontology

Product innovation is the guarantee of enterprise continuous development. Concept design is the most crucial stage of product innovation. When the system or the technical of the product reach the limit, we should jump out the existing system, analyze the existing product's ultimate purpose and design a new system to accomplish the corresponding function. But due to the influence of thinking inertia and knowledge scope limitation, designers want to do the whole new design is very difficult. Innovation knowledge can well inspire product conceptual design and solve the above problems. Function ontology can be used to define the conceptual vocabulary of functional space and limit the function space. Application concepts in function ontology enable designers to better understand the design requirement and do functional space reasoning effectively.This paper analyze the shortage of existing innovation knowledge expression and storage ways, combine FBS mapping and use function ontology to express multiple inputs and outputs complex innovation knowledge, Design and realize innovation knowledge ontology base which composed by operation ontology, stream ontology, stream attribute ontology, scientific effect ontology, effect example ontology, and used OWL language to instantiate the innovation knowledge. Developed innovation knowledge retrieval system prototype based on innovation knowledge ontology.Finally to design the next generation vacuum washing machine to verify innovation knowledge ontology base for product conceptual design is correct and effective.
