In recent years, bamboo processing industry has been booming with the change of market demand and the progress of science and technology, and constantly develops new bamboo products, such as bamboo plywood, bamboo flooring, etc. Therefore, the preparation of bamboo flate occupies a crucial position. The appropriate processing method must be selected to ensure the quality of the bamboo plate and improve the utilization of bamboo, and special bamboo processing equipment must be used. With the mutual penetration of computer technology and automatic control technology, industrial control systems are widely used. In this paper, PLC control technology has been used in bamboo flattening equipment for the first time, and two-way prestressed flattening of arc bamboo is realized without cracks.The thesis analyses the meaning of automation control in the flattening of bamboo based on the flattening process parameters of arc bamboo obtained after studied, and the status of processing and utilization of bamboo at home and abroad has been reviewed. The control system of prestressed flattening machine of arc bamboo based on PLC and the relevant design of analog acquisition by means of pressure sensors and position sensors are mainly introduced. This system selects OMRON Corporation C200HE PLC as the main control device, testes the position of the main plate of the flattening machine through the online detection, and controls the hydraulic system coordinately in order to adapt to flatten bamboo of different arc chord. Besides, this system adjusts the pressure of the main plate and side plate through the online detection of two pressures, which makes two-way prestress appropriately related, to ensure that the flattening of different thickness of the arc bamboo without cracks.The software design of the control system includes the entire manual/automatic PLC control programming and touch-screen interface programming. The system controls solenoid valve of the hydraulic system by means of control procedures, and then controls the feed displacement of the main plate, and according to the different arc chord and thickness of bamboo, the control system adaptively produces the appropriate pressure of the main plate and the side plate, that is two-way prestressed, to complete the flattening of the arc bamboo without cracks. It establishes a good user interactive interface via the touch screen, and realizes the whole operation control visualizations. The interactive interfaces include the initial parameter settings of flattening, dynamic display curve of pressure and location of flattening machine, accident alarm and so on. A complete adaptively control system for the two-way prestressed flattening machine of arc bamboo has been developed in this topic. The control system can be adaptively to solve flattening with no cracks difficulties such as different raw materials, and its width varies, the thickness varies, different arc chord radius of curvature, which carries an unprecedented innovation in the bamboo flattening process and equipment with high promotional value.
