Network popularity is entering the medical electronics field. Through a wired or wireless technology, doctors can remotely access patient's information; digital, and network-oriented medical tests equipment so patients do not have to re-carry large amount of medical documentations, and run around in different hospital departments or even extremely between different hospitals across thousands of miles, saving time and duplication of medical testing of those costs; and networked medical devices and systems for remote health care become a reality, are in some developed regions of the severe cases may be remote treatment of medical doctors achieve high lease of life. In China, because of the deficiency of medical resources, particularly lack and unpopular regional distribution of high-end quality medical resources which caused a wide criticized the "seeing the doctor" difficulty, medical equipment network access of these benefits from the resolving these problems will become practical significance. Given the current realities, if we can design the low cost and high-performance network access and data transmission of blood glucose meter access equipments, it will be very significant for the development of the entire household medical electronic network market. This paper described several network access modes in current market, select one access mode which is feasible. Discussed how to achieve blood glucose meter Ethernet network access, the blood glucose meter data export methods. Meanwhile, the paper focuses on system design and industry from the perspective of discourse analysis and blood glucose meter network access product development in several key issues, including program evaluation and selection, analysis of the key technical issues and countermeasures, based on the needs of mass production issues of concern.Innovation of this paper lies in how software and hardware design and selection, mainly in three aspects:(1) A variety of wired and wireless networks for the current mode, set out the basic principles of a variety of ways, and select one of the wired LAN and dial-up telephone network. In this paper, based on the blood glucose meter equipment access the wired LAN chip selection, USB interface chip usage, and Modem Dial-up realization, are ultimately making the product can be simultaneously support wired LAN, dial-up access and USB interface data import and export, make products more widely applicable.(2) Based on current flash semiconductors market trends, do NOR and NAND comprehensive comparison of the cost, performance and other characteristics, choose the NAND Shadowing structure, select NAND and SDRAM running as data storage media, and select support NAND Boot chip, effectively control costs, with perspective and practicality. (3) Moreover, there exists a lot of software infringement, the phenomenon of user data theft, which will seriously affect the whole program unique and user medical data security. This article discusses how to achieve full consideration to optimize the cost of IP protection program. IP protection from hardware selection to software protection architecture design, are in line with low cost to improve product safety under the guidelines, thus making the research project also has a strong innovative significance.
