With the continuous development of virtual instrument technology, remote control systems are advancing toward generalization, intelligentization and simplification rapidly. Labview, which is a graphical programming language produced by National Instruments (NI) Company, is the best developed virtual instruments software, possessing the most clients. Labview has achieved good results in the applications of various industrial automation fields, and generated huge economic benefits in saving investment in human resources and improving equipment utilization.Under the condition of network technology's increasing popularity remote control systems rapidly rise and penetrate into various industrial applications. Virtual instruments, which is combination of Labview software and network technology, is completely changing ways of the traditional test and measurement, and is becoming one of the advanced applications means of remote data acquisition.In this paper, researches are done on the Depp Shi Experimental Platform, which belongs to Electrical and Control Facilities Experimental Center. The development of the remote network control and its applications at home and abroad are briefly described, and the mainstream network models, including C/S (Client/Server), B/S (Browser/Server), are described and compared in detail. This Paper focuses on the Labview communication technologies used in the thesis work, and highlight its advantages and disadvantages with the example of DataSocket. It also describes Labview LabSQL toolkit's access to the database and the detailed implementation,, and realization of the remote access panel. This remote measurement system constructs network experiments on the premise of safe login with users'password, achieveing login of remote users, transmission of control commands, and submission and save of experimental results.This remote measurement system carries out specific experiments programming for rotor test facilities of Depp Shi Experimental Platform, including the Photoelectric Sensor Speed Measurement Experiment, Magnetic Mansour Speed Measurement Experiment, Speed Sensor Vibration Test, and Orbit Measurement Experiment. The system combines experiment teaching and remote operation. Its good security and exploitability provide an effective way to resolve the contradiction between the college enrollment expansion and small laboratory equipment, and make a technical pilot about the sustainable development strategy of the university laboratory.
