Since 1970s, with the rapid advance of the Decision Support System (DSS), various computer technology is introduced to the DSS and DSS is effectively applied in various fields of management science, engineering technology, etcPhosphate &compound fertilizer industry is an important part of phosphate chemical industry. In the research of phosphate and compound fertilizer process, the decision is always difficult because the quality of decision making is easily affect by a lot of data analysis as optimization and evaluation of technology in the process of multiple constraints and scattered expertise, etc.In this topic we established the phosphate &compound fertilizer technology DSS, which is contained the decision support system technology and phosphate &compound fertilizer process. By using the fast data processing functions of computer and the simulation of models, the phosphate &compound fertilizer technology DSS can offer relatively perfect decision aid information to decision makers as for improving the quality and efficiency of decision-making.The phosphate &compound fertilizer technology DSS is an integrated system contained computer techniques, chemical technology, system engineering theory and decision science.It utilizes the J2EE technology and SSH structure, using SQL Server2005 as the database, JAVA as programming language, assistant decision-making as the main purpose. The databases of phosphate &compound fertilizer technology DSS was established. Six functional models and seven kinds of phosphate &compound fertilizer process models were constructed. The system realized the humanized man-machine dialogue platform by using the form of web. The system can realized the functions of applicability evaluation of phosphate, the simulation of material balance and energy balance and the selection of Process equipment, etc.The phosphate &compound fertilizer DSS embodies the characteristics of multidisciplinary cross-penetration. It can assist with the decision-making in the rational using of phosphate resource and selection of processing optimization to achieve means, embodies the characteristics of penetrating into multiple disciplines for the phosphorous chemical industry, can provide information and automated aided decision-making functions.In this paper, we explained the basic theories and methods about the construction of DDS. Its basic theory, logic structure, operation content, operating functions and evaluation results are described. The problems and prospects further improvement direction of the system were explained.
