In the course of construction in our nation. Building Documents are not only the recording documents of the whole course of the engineering from the beginning to handing over,but also an objective testimony of the project from scratch. But in the current technique conditions and policy circumstances, there are some problems in building documents such as fussy producing, simple recording, inconvenient inquiring, lacking of supervision, and so on.At present, as the constant raising of standard requirements of building quality of the nation, especially the highlighting of engineering documents, the burdon of producing materials in the enterprise is heavier day by day. At the same time, because of technique conditions of the building site is simple and crude, the system of material backup is still traditional. The scientization and informational development of engineering material in the building site is confined.The quick popularity of computer bring good solutions to the problems of engineering material. Through the explicit analysis of the present state of the engineering material in the building sites in our nation, this paper find out the requirements of engineering enterprises and related supervision departments, consider the improvements seriously, carefully compare the difference between traditional manner and information manner with data, and combined with informational methods, we begin with the establishment of B/S architecture management system and discuss the course of realization of informationization.At last, we have designed the systematic architecture and seven functional modules, maked out the module flow charts, established relative data charts and realized the main functions of engineering material management system in building sites.
