Each basic link composed of control systems may create a failure during the actual operating process. However, the failure caused by actuators or/and sensors has become the main reason for control systems which fail. Considering the rich practical background of switched systems and the wide existence of uncertainty and time delay, it is of great significance to research the fault-tolerant control for the nonlinear uncertain time-delay switched systems with actuators failures.Some results obtained are improved and perfected in this paper. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the problem of fault-tolerant control for the time-delay nonlinear uncertain switched systems is studied. The main work is as follows:Firstly, the problem of robust fault-tolerant control for a class of time-delay nonlinear uncertain switched systems is studied when actuators fail. Based on common Lyapunov function method, the state feedback controllers are designed and a sufficient condition of the asymptotic stability for closed-loop systems under arbitrary switching is given.Secondly, the problem of robust fault-tolerant control for a class of multi-delay nonlinear uncertain switched systems is studied when actuators fail. On the basis of the situation of time-delay systems, multi-delay systems are systematically made for further study. The state feedback controllers are designed and each sufficient condition of the asymptotic stability for closed-loop systems is given by using common Lyapunov function, single Lyapunov function and multiple Lyapunov functions methods, respectively. And the designs of switching strategy are provided corresponding to single Lyapunov function and multiple Lyapunov functions methods. Meanwhile, regions are partitioned in R ( m+1 )n , and switching laws designed are not only dependent on the present state but also dependent on hysteresis state.Finally, the conclusion and perspectives are given in the paper.
