The Testing And Application Of Streaming In Mobile Communication

With the development of broadband networks, streaming media technology related applications will become the future mainstream of high-speed networks. It not only changed the traditional media of communication, but also changed the traditional way of video playback.The Mobile streaming media technology combined the wireless communication network with the Internet. With the mobile phone, PDA and other mobile devices function on the rise, the mobile streaming media age has arrived and will give people more and better experience of audio and video usage.How can ensure stability and capability of mobile streaming media more effectively, has become main research direction and focus currently.The original manual test method can meet test requirements. But it's difficult to catch the error logs and the server is hard to control. The test accuracy and efficiency need to be improved as well. Therefore, in order to ensure the assessment and testing of the streaming media capabilities more efficiently and accurately. The thesis is based on the project in Sony Ericsson (China) about building streaming media server and system verification, focus on how to use streaming media server to do test design and perform the test. With it, we can verify the performance and efficiency of the test system, and evaluate and improve functionality and performance.The thesis includes the introduction of streaming media technologies, mobile streaming media technology, Test method introduction and test design, test environment set up and verification, and software defect analysis.
