With the development of information technology in the 21st Century, China Mobile will face the construction of optimized GSM and TD-SCDMA chose two networks at the same time. From the networking technical aspect, TD-SCDMA is the network with 3G technology can bring high-speed Internet access, but compare with the GSM network which has already being existing for more than a decade and has a better signal coverage, TD-SCDMA network only has had 2 years development and lack of business strength. So the proposal of 2G and 3G handover have been put on the table. The final goal of 2Gnd 3G handover is not only to archive the integration of their networks, also the customer satisfaction and profit maximinzation is essential.In This article, paper first introduced the strategy of GSM/TD-SCDMA handover, trigger mechanism, signaling process and the parameters. Focusing on the GSM/ TD-SCDMA interoperability strategies and trigger in-depth research, because switching often occurs within the coverage area, obtained by comparing coverage based on business and on the characteristics of interoperability, and describes the 2G and Different 3G interoperability principle of the system configuration of adjacent areas, and introduced to optimize the neighborhood of 2/3G method.TD-GSM network and the network is not the same team for maintenance, we focused on the work of the optimization problem often focuses on the emerging 3G to 2G consistency of the design parameters of the automatic optimization system. In 2G and 3G interoperability to optimize the process parameters of the collaborative practice regularly checks to ensure the parameters match the two networks to reduce communication links to enhance the network targets, reduce data conflicts. At this stage almost all the game point interoperability 2G and 3G optimization parties have a TD to complete, so as the TD-SCDMA network optimization engineers both GSM network parameters to TD, or TD to GSM network parameters, are required Active and timely verification. In the fifth chapter, we developed and implemented 2/3G optimization system interoperability adjacent areas.Based on the theoretical research in the paper. the paper interoperability through the development of the author's city 2/3G optimized test system to verify the theoretical study of the feasibility and the results obtained by testing the application for interoperability also played a practical reference value.
