Analysis And Design Of Passenger Management Information System

The management information system has become a modern necessary means for the state-owned business enterprise to carry out a logical, scientific and modern management pattern. Usually it can standardize management routine, facilitate decision-making, improve operation efficiency and provide a large amount of accurate and timely information.The system is developed in response to the needs of Qinhuangdao Bureau of Transportation. At present many problems exist in its information system, such as too much monotonous work, information storage redundancy and so on. This calls for a new management information system which can reduce the workload of the staff and effectively deal with the city's passenger information. It is against this background that the passenger management information system came into being, with which the needs of Qinhuangdao Bureau of Transportation can be fully met.This paper, first of all, describes background issues, trends and the purpose and significance of writing. It then details the related tools used during the process of developing passenger information management systems. After that, the paper focuses on the feasibility analysis and needs analysis of the system. Then the system's overall design and database design are illustrated. Finally, the paper deliberates the testing phase of the system as well as some technical problems encountered in the development process.
