IPTV ( Interactive Internet TV) is a novel multimedia network , withthe continuous development of communication technology and the vi, the IPTVnetwork multimedia technology has gradually become the mainstream of thecurrent direction of the development of multimedia technology. Currently,due to the limitation of network bandwidth, video data compression which isstill restricting the development of IPTV is the major technical bottleneck.Because of the high compression ratio and the superior network-friendly,the new generation of video coding-H.264 has grown into the dominantstandards for the multimedia communication business. The combination ofH.264 standard and IPTV will bring a more promising future to thedevelopment and the application of the multimedia communication.This article mainly studies some aspects, as follows:﹙ 1﹚This article studies and analyses the development of IPTV,thesystematic framework,the business characteristics and the quality ofservice (QOS) .﹙2﹚This article introduces the framework of H.264 codec,the coretechnology and study the network abstraction layer on H.264 technology andanti-error techniques in detail;﹙3﹚With Real-time Transport Protocol RTP / RTCP to achieve real-timevideo transmission ,this article focuses on the RTP packaging technologybased on H.264 video streams, designs H.264 video streaming package andre-opened algorithm and carries them out.﹙4﹚This article selects DirectShow technology to build IPTV real-timetransmission system, And made congestion control algorithm which is suitable for the system to control the transmission rate to avoid networkcongestion.﹙5﹚By the comprehensive discussion and analysis of H264 error controltechniques ,this article gives the analytic research on H.264 error controltechniques, analyses and improves the latter error concealment method andproposes space, time domain of the hybrid algorithm for the changes ofvideo sequences of scenes to Reduce the delay of the computation .Paper strategy proposed by this article is suitable for H.264 real-timetransmission to be achieved, while it improves the error concealmentalgorithm to improve the quality of the image restoration IPTV .
