Mobile commerce emerged as increasingly development of wireless communication technology, Internet and computer technology has shown its great potential in the field of mobile application and acquired a large scale of E-Commerce market. Mobile commerce has broken a new ground for commerce activities, consumers can do business anytime and anywhere through various wireless mobile termination, whereas currently there is no unified system platform for clients and servers, and this require XML which can be used as flat file on different platforms for data sharing and data integration. Consequently the efficiency on XML query technology has become an essential area of M-Commerce research interests.Research has been done on development and trend of M-Commerce, system infrastructure of M-Commerce platform is illustrated to clarify how to apply XML in it. XML DTD, schema, XPath and XQuery are all introduced, and the path information included in XML Schema is used to enhance query efficiency. New encoding solution is given on the basis of XML region encoding research work, and new index structure based on XML Schema is promoted after analyzing existing XML index technology and pointing out where need to be improved, the index will have every XML node take the structure information to promote query efficiency. Meanwhile, detailed query solution based on SRSTI index is clearly elaborated also with cases. The problem that end users query when they may not understand XML structure has been solved by designing a friendly GUI. Finally, the system is architected and executed to certify the query solution, the time of building SRSTI index and related query efficiency are given compared with SphinX and XISS, which proves that SRSTI have a better performance especially on invalidate query.
