OPENT Simulation Realization And Research On Identity Authentication System Models In Mobile Commerce

With the development and penetration of Mobile Commerce, a secure and efficient identity authentication system is needed. Recently, researchers at home and aboard have proposed some identity authentication system models according to the characteristics of Mobile Commerce and the demands of authentication. However, due to the lack of standards and index-evaluation system, the models cannot be compared and studied uniformly and comprehensively. The issue how to evaluate all the models uniformly and comprehensively is of great importance for the study on identity authentication in Mobile Commerce. Consequently, this paper considering this issue studies the typical models and IAMME model which is proposed by our Programme Group by using OPNET software. This paper firstly studies the identity authentication system models and the application in network schemes of OPNET software according to the channel characteristics and the limits of mobile equipments. Then it establishes an identity authentication index-evaluation system considering the methods which are used by researchers. This system consists of three aspects-function, security and efficiency aspect. Each aspect corresponds to some evaluation indexes. And then study and summarize the results of function and security aspects, IAMME model is better than other two. By using OPNET Modeler8.1 software, we emulate the Easy User/Password Model, One-time Password Model and IAMME Model to evaluate the efficiency aspect. According to the simulation results, the paper analyses the simulation parameters. In the end, the simulation results are generalized and the advantages and disadvantages of identity authentication system models are evaluated. The paper comes to the conclusion that IAMME model is better in efficiency aspect than other two models and it is also more suited to mobile environment.
