In this paper, the agenda setting theory of communication, combined with the new curriculum, by examining the agenda of the mass media under the influence of high school students, presents a curriculum and teaching on the ideological and political aspects of the new, found a study of ideological and political discipline curriculum and teaching students how to live with the world and the way the scientific world. This study relates to agenda setting theory or two value dimensions that can be used two ways:first, the mass media in agenda setting effect of the underlying communication mechanisms; second, the phenomenon of agenda setting the agenda in the event of public order. Thus, this study has two paths:one path is formed from the spread of agenda setting mechanism, the process of mass communication, find out which laws and methods can be used to study ideological and political teaching of this particular communication process; The second path is to tap the mass media agenda setting effect itself (the media set the public agenda of important issues) to the ideological and political teaching of the meaning and value for high school students to participate in social life, a better set up a bridge. Article along these two paths will study politics teaching in the teaching of design, teaching methods, teaching evaluation and curriculum resource development and a series of new issues.There are four main aspects of text:the first part of the agenda setting theory briefly elaborated on the basis proposed by the agenda setting theory in China induced the ideological and political course and Teaching:Focus on student life in the world; enhance students modern citizen Quality training, active participation in social life; improving teaching methods, and guide students to actively explore; achieve educational function of ideological and political class unity and social services. The second part discusses in detail the agenda setting theory perspective, the practice of ideological and political course of the problems and their causes. Problems are:textbooks obsolete and can not reflect the actual social life; lack of respect for the initiative of students, instilling the teaching style still dominant; instructional design process re-teaching material, light student research; function of ideological and political course should be Less than a full play. Reasons, the teaching of ignoring the impact of media agenda effects on students, curriculum resource development can not meet the teaching needs; teaching ideas behind the new educational theory can not be well applied; on the needs of research-oriented students is not deep enough; on the ideological and political course deep understanding of the nature and functions and so on. The third part of the point of view of teaching, combined with the second part of agenda setting theory that the practice of ideological and political problems in class made three measures:the development of the media agenda, curriculum resources, further understanding of social and cultural products; in-depth Understanding and research students, instructional design concerns the needs of students; improve teaching methods, characterized by carrying out interactive inquiry teaching.
