| In certain environments, such as the remote location, the wireless remote monitoring technology has been used. A program was proposed, which is based on Windows CE embedded technology and GPRS network resources for remote monitoring. Unattended Monitoring Systems were combined with embedded technology, Windows CE, and the advantages of GPRS wireless communication technology. It makes monitoring more sensitive and intelligent, and can achieve long-range, reliable and timely transmission. The WEB server in the wireless system can achieve real-time monitoring, remote maintenance. Moreover, it can upgrade equipment online.A common network, which was based on GPRS and embedded remote wireless data transmission system, was set up. The system uses S3C2410 board and SIM100-E model of GPRS module. According to demand, the system has three modules, which are monitoring terminal, network communications and control center. In the monitoring terminal, Windows CE system was ported to the embedded chip, and made the sensor data collected more accurate and sensitive. The data can indicate the current control environment. Through the GPRS network, data was transmitted to the monitoring center of the WEB server, and the results were displayed in the server. Data was stored in a database for later to query.The development status of the wireless monitoring platform was introduced and compared with traditional monitoring platform. The theory and features of GPRS were introduced. The network structure and the interface of main unit were described. The Transport plane, the protocol and the instruction set in GPRS were analyzed. The hardware structure and the design of circuit were described in detail. The hardware was divided into the processor module, memory modules, serial communication module, and the GPRS module. After the structure of Windows CE has been analyzed, the system and boot program were implemented. The software design of monitoring platform was discussed in detail, including the development platform, the implementation of system functions, and some design of driven.The end makes a summary of the study, also pointes out the shortcomings of the research. According to current issues some proposals were put forward, meanwhile the plan of further research was presented. |
