Dongying Vocational College Online Teaching System Design And Implementation

The rapid development of Internet brings new chances and challenges to modern education. The design of on-line teaching based on network database is become a hot question which is researched by educators nowadays. On the base of analysing and researching current Computer Assistant Instruction (CAI) and Network Education, this thesis developes the On-line Teaching System Based on Network Database. The author researches analyses various schemes of current network database in detail, and applies the design principle of Human Computer Interface to the system. The destination of the system is to contribute to the development of national CAI and make it fit in with the requirements of modern education.In this thesis the design, development and application of the Web-BasedInstruetional System (hereinafter to be referred as WBIS) are diseussed,and its critieal role in deepening the reform of edueation and training creativetalents is illuminated. So this thesis has laid a substantial basis for thedevelopment and applieation of the WBIS theoretieally and praetieally.The application of WBIS in edueation will bring about many changes: Accelerating the integration of the information technology into the proeess of currieulum teaching, abolishing the traditionally teacher-centered instruetional strueture, construeting the dominant-main strueture and reforming the mode of learning. As a result,it becomes realizable to train creative talents who possess the ability of independently learning as well as cooperative sprites and innovative spirits.
