Research On A Cotton Storage Management System Based On Decision Support

Cotton safety stock is an important link of the cotton market operation. Every year, for adjusting the balance of cotton market, our country always stores a certain amount of cotton. At present, the security management work of cotton storage mostly relies on manufacturing labor, it's a waste of man power and resources. So, the use of innovative and high technology with computer is imperative.The thesis is according to the requirement of the security management work of cotton storage, designs a useful system based on decision support system (DSS). To research and develop DSS for the security management of cotton storage, it presents an Object—oriented Knowledge Representation based on the Relational Database to achieve the source collection and integrated sharing of cotton storage real-time data, management data, expert system data and other kinds of data. According to the DSS technology, technique of database and expert system, the thesis designs a model of fire capability estimation and disaster alarm. Combined with the knowledge and experience of the cotton storage's management and domination, the thesis does a research of the system's Component, main model, algorithm, maintenance of knowledge base and the design of inference mechanism, the system can generate the project of firefighting force and tool configuration. The test shows that the system can improve the work of cotton storage's management and domination effectively, it's important to achieve the goal of modern means for management of cotton storage.
