Wireless sensor networks has been developped as a acquisition and processing of new information technology, which combine computing, network technology and wireless communication technology. It has been widely applied to economic and military fields. Main characteristics of wireless sensor network are limited energy and computing communications storage capacity, numerous nodes, self-organization nodes and dynamic network topology. So routing protocol plays an important role in wireless sensor networks and become current hot research.Through the analysis of ant colony optimization and wireless sensor networks in common, this paper presents a novel ant colony optimization for wireless sensor networks QoS routing algorithm. The algorithm guarantees the need of QoS routing in wireless sensor networks using distributed computing, ant colony optimization algorithm and adaptive characteristics. And it can effectively reduce the chance of link congestion, improving the energy efficiency of nodes and network lifetime. |
