With social development, more attention has been paid to vocational college by government and society. Recruitment of students in vocational colleges has been expanded. Therefore, more and more vocational students will do their internship every year. Qingdao Hotel Management College is a state-owned school. In this school, there are 12000 students who cover 33 majors. Every year, there are almost 4000 students doing internship. When they are in internship, our school will provide them some teachers as their tutors.There are so many internship students of different majors, which causes the following problems:these teachers have low efficiency in tutoring internship students; students have low employment rate and low-quality work; feedback messages from students and companies can not immediately be reported to school. We are trying to develop an internship management system. Because this system can help us to handle the above problems, so that more employment channels will be created to make internship job more scientific and valuable.Students who enter this system can easily get employment information, relative documents of school, and interview notice from companies. And they can also perfect their resumes in this system. Companies can register in this system to issue hiring information, and check students'job appliance. Internship teachers can set up the internship-guiding records according to specialties of students and their majors. And they can also put students information into this system to issue hiring information. Employment information from companies should be audited by teachers. Recommendation posts will also be counted. Administrators of this system can add or delete names of internship teachers, and check records or maintain system.This system should be designed and developed according to the method of software development. First, suggestions and methods of internship teachers should be collected. Based on the collection, function module should be extracted. Second, this function module should be designed. Third, this system should be designed based on vs2005, ASP.NET and Three-tier system architecture. Fourth, according to purpose of the whole designing, the codes of every module should be developed. Fifth, the system should be operated and adjusted.When the system is created, teachers can set up the internship plans according to majors of students. Colleges can create an information bank for internship companies, so that more employment channels can be created. Meanwhile, communication platforms between school and companies can be created to increase employment rate. Through this system, we can get quickly the feedback from students and companies, so that teaching quality in school can be increased. And flexibility and universal of this system can also be increased.
