Nowadays the hospitals in our country exists "three long while a short" phenomenon which is the long time of registration, the long waiting time of charging, the long time of waiting for doctors and the short time of being treated. Based on the current situation of hospitals, this paper decided to study and establish a self-service system by which patients can register, inquiry information, take bills, and pay the bills by themselves. This system will reduce the queue time of seeing a doctor and improve the overall efficiency and provide more convenient services for medical patients.This topic starts from product design aspect. By surveying hospital deeply, consulting from Internet, reading newspapers and books and the other related material, then analysing "the person-machine-environment" system as the medical system self-service terminal and patients'psychological characteristics when they go to see a doctor, and by studying the demand and characteristics of its customers and man-machine interaction, we can study the interface design model, discusses problems and countermeasures related design and continuously explore new methods. In the illegal selling registering number issue, we can register by using medical card or valid identity card, which could restrain this illegal reselling behavior to the greatest extent; We take the method that combine self-help registration at registered-machine, help making an appointment and artificially registered to diminish the pressure of hospital manual registered work and collecting money. As for the guiding problems in hospital, we can distribute registered patients and save patients meaningless waiting time by providing information about current situation of all department and experts of the hospital in the self-service equipments. At the same time, patients can also find the situation of section they need to go, which make it convenient for patients seeing a doctor. Talking about the low efficient of looking for check and test results and the probably of exposing the privacy of patients, hospitals could take the self-help way to print test bills, enhancing efficient and protecting effectively patients'privacy.The topic is based on deep analysis of medical system self-service terminal namely the "person-machine-environment" system, combining design content of human-machine theoretical aspects, analysing the size, the function, the overall layout, interactive way of self-service terminal of the medical system. Then research on interface design of the self-service terminal in the medical system environment, forming a set of design mode of self-service terminal interface of medical system. For providing constructive suggestion on practical design of medical system self-service terminal and its similar products and thus this can popularize the self-help equipments in the hospitals, make the hospital reduce artificial window queue, and add a new service manner. Then, in the direction of above theoretical research and analysis, we could start concrete and detailed scheme design and analysis about medical system self-service terminal namely man-machine interface, we have already tested the feasibility and effectiveness of the model of the medical system self-service terminal called human-computer interface design with the actual design case.This article not only provide foundation of theoretical study and mode of human-computer interface design for self-service terminal of medical system namely human-computer interface design, but also work as medium of the technology which can make it useful. This could consider human-oriented for self-help expending to medical system, promoting the development of self-help equipments industry and proceeding of localization. Meanwhile the related theoretical research in this article could also make important significance on products that is similar to human-machine interface design.
