Recently, "The Internet of Things" has become a hot topic to cause the attention of people. As an important branch of The Internet of Things, wireless sensor network is one of the focus of today's research on wireless communication. The wireless sensor network comprises of various sensor nodes, whose design is strongly correlated with their application scenarios. So the design of sensor nodes meeting the particular application scene becomes the key issue of study.Firstly, the paper gives a simple review on the research of wireless sensor network, analyzes the characteristics of the wireless sensor network nodes, then in line with the characteristics of wireless sensor network nodes. Then the paper chooses the ARM Cortex-M3 processor that is specifically designed to achieve high system performance in power- and cost-sensitive embedded applications and that is suitable for wireless sensor network nodes. Then according to uClinux's virtues such as open source, many drivers, good portability, that reduce development cycle and costs, the paper selects uClinux operating system as the software development platform. And the uClinux must be reduced for the limited memory. Finally, the detail of porting SPCA5XX is described in this Part. Many aspects are involved in this process, such as the USB specification, USB host controller and the technique of software design. It can give USB driver developers the bottom details of USB host controller driver in linux.
