Design And Implementation Of Students Comprehensive Assessment Management System Based On ASP

Today, many work obtained rapid development and advancement with the computer system. The data quantity of educational management is increasing with the increase of students in the university. The management of student comprehensive assessment is becoming more trivial. The student comprehensive assessment system is an important part of student management information system. The student comprehensive assessment evaluates the students morally, intellectually, and physically. All the representation of the students in the university about study, work and life are reasonably quantized to obtain the comprehensive assessment scores. Then, the score is used as a standard of grading to evaluate the honorary title, scholarship and financial aid. The fairness and impartiality of the student comprehensive assessment is important to advance the normal course of students work and enhance the students'quality. The purpose of this paper is to develop a practical educational management system.The system involves many educational teaching services, such as student information management, comprehensive assessment score management, the record of student information, query of student information, modified of student information, the rank of student information, and so on. The development method is the combined Life Cycle Method and Prototype Method. There are four moments in the system design: investigation and research, analysis, design and implementation. In the system, the evolved prototype method is adopted as the practical design method. Dream weaver MX and ACCESS Database are proposed in the foreground application and background application respectively. Dynamic Web is implemented by ASP. The integrality and consistence of the data is guaranteed by database.The student comprehensive assessment system implements the online query scores, the record scores and student information, deletion scores and student information, modification scores and student information and so on. The system has the character of practical and universal. It can be seen that using the program tools such as Dream weaver MX, ACCESS Database, ASP can implement many management systems.The system is developed by the student management of Shandong Institute of Light Industry. This system is applied in some departments; however,the universal is limited. So the widespread use needs further research and development.
