With the rapid development of manufacturing digital information and intelligent, the technique of CAx has been successfully applied to product development, design and manufacturing. Meanwhile, Geometrical product specifications and verification (GPS) has been development from the first generation based on the geometry to the new generation of metrology-based GPS, a lot of companies and universities at home and abroad have already started on the research of the new generation of GPS standards relevant theoretical and applied technology, but the research of measurement tools and digital design systems based on a new generation GPS are few. Therefore, to discussion and develop the digital application tools system and the key technique is of great significance to the digital precision design and error definition.The digital tools system has been discussed in the paper refers to the generation of the basic theory of GPS standard system based, on embedded technology digital tools system development platform, using embedded database technology, data optimization algorithm technology and programming technology of MINIGUI to achieve a digital tools system has features such as geometry precision information, the geometric precision design, geometric accuracy error measurement and with the typical equipment (cylindrical device) combine features.This paper analyzed the new generation of GPS standards and the key technology, studied the relationship and the rule between the query of geometry precision information, the geometric precision design, geometric error evaluation based on product function design and error measurement, established the structure of application digital multi-function tools system based on GPS. Studied the overall structure of the new generation of GPS knowledge summarization, using embedded database information SQLite established a database of geometric precision; it's helpful to the geometric precision design for the follow-up. From the research of the traditional geometric design and geometric tolerance design, combined with a new generation of GPS-related theory, a new GPS-based methods of geometric design and geometric tolerance design has been researched, it contains geometric design and geometric tolerance design; through the cylindrical type of JCS042A measured analysis of the characteristics of data storage, development of application tool system with cylindrical instrument integration instrument for collecting data, analyzing and processing function modules.The paper embedded development environment using graphical user interface development software MINIGUI were implemented based on the geometric precision of GPS information query module, the geometric precision of the design module, shape and position tolerance design module and a typical instrument integration module development. It's important to accelerate the system's digital, intelligent and producibility. The application tool system has been tested and checked with examples in the paper.
