Analyse And Design Of Mayor's Mailbox System

Currently, the Mayor's Mailbox system has become one of the main channels of information disclosure, public complaints admissibility, consultation and interaction between government and the public. The traditional Government Mayor's Mailbox system is time-wasting, inefficiency and lack of channels. Furthermore, it is easy to be influenced by people, and difficult to be supervised.With the development of science and technology and the popular application of wired and wireless network technology in the government, more and more advantages appears in the application of modem information technology in the Mayor's mail system. Based on the actual needs of Xuchang Municipal Government, the analyse and design implementation of the Mayor's Mailbox system is completed in this dissertation.According to the actual need of Xuchang Municipal government and the characteristics of its own work, in this dissertation, the disadvantages of the traditional Mayor's Mailbox is presented, the development situation of the current Mayor's Mailbox system is analyzed. And the technical issues to be solved in the current system are brought forth, such as lacking of channel, low efficiency, etc.In the system requirements analysis, this dissertation proposed the goal requirements of the Government Mayor's Mailbox system, including the performance goal and function goal requirements of the system. Ulteriorly, it analyzed the functions and dynamic behavior of each system module, which is done through UML case diagrams and sequence diagrams.In the design of the system, this dissertation described the overall structure of the system is with functional graph and the flow chart diagram, the database design and data manipulation. Then the functions of each module are analyzed clearly.To ensure the quality of the software, testing is necessary. In the development process, the principle of testing-driven is applied. First, complete the preparation of test code, then write the relevant code to meet these test cases. These two phases are repeated until the completion of all functional module development.The Mayor's Mailbox system is completed with the B/S based architecture, J2EE technology and Oracle-based back-end database. It has the feature of multi-channel, unified background management, standardized and large analyzable.information.The system solved the problems existing in present Mayor's Mailbox system, in which submitting information is slow, users'complaints can only be received by one channel and the process can not be viewed. The J2EE based Mayor's Mailbox system, not only fits the needs of Xuchang Municipal government, but also provides users with friendly interface and convenient channels. With this system, the government images will be improved and a lot of laborer cost will be saved.
