Case Study: The Planning And Implement Of Integrated Service IP Network For XX Bureau In Beijing

With the development of informatization, the network integrating couples of services has become the internationalization trend in recent years. Although there are a variety of network characteristics of their own, the network technology is gradually the same. And the IP protocol has become the dominant trend of further development.Based on the success of former applications, integrated service of IP network for service application and future development was established.This paper introduced the planning and design of integrated service IP network of Beijing XX Bureau. The planning includes the original network structure and problems, the selection of networking technology, the planning of network structure, IP address, route, VLAN, IP voice system, and IP multicast, etc.Then the implementation of integrated services IP network was introduced, including the selection of core equipments, network implementation, IP address allocation in detail, the implementation of the routing, VLAN, IP voice system and IP multicast, etc.Finally, the key performance of the whole network (such as system connectivity, the transmission rate, network throughput rate, transmission delay and network packet loss rate, etc.) was tested. The testing results presented that integrated services IP network have gigabit network performance and speed of broadband to expedite the network. The network would provide a stable and efficient transmission platform for various applications (such as video on demand, IP phone, IP fax and high-speed video on demand, IP phone, IP fax and high-speed internet access, etc.).
