Telecom distributor performs a key role in the development of telecommunication industry. It engaged in providing various telecommunication services. With the close cooperation with distributors, telecommunication operators not only achieve great revenue by cutting down the sales and labor cost, but also succeed in expanding the sales and service coverage and effectively making up its own shortage.With the intensive competition in telecommunication industry, most telecom distributors have gradually stepped into a fine business management ear. Accordingly, they require more detail information data from telecommunication operators. The telecom distributors are varied in services, business scale, and the distributor level. However, the telecommunication operators have provided some basic function for simple service supporting. There are still many problems remaining such as the scattered information and the dull searching engines, so that it is hard to reflect a more valuable customer service quality. In conclusion, it is very important and significant to establish a unified distributor support system, by providing a reliable, accurate, timely, comprehensive and consistent information platform, so as to discover a win-win situation based on a steady and joint development and cooperation relationship.Distributor Support Systems (Distributor Support System, DSS) refers to an integration information support system for both operators and distributors. It can not only help distributors determine the direction of business development, but also effectively improve and enhance the service levels as well. I am involved in the entire project, as requirements analysis part, design implementation part, system optimize parts, and Shanghai Ya Xin Technology Development Corporation is responsible for the system coding.The whole thesis consists of following five parts: 1. Consistent with the context of Shanghai Unicom BSS system planning, to the point of view of information query and service supporting, and focusing on the Billing and customer information requirements, the goal of DSS system and its main function have been revised based on deep research of existed requirements collected from the distributors of Shanghai Unicom.2. Consistent with the context of Shanghai Unicom BSS system planning, the idea of system integration has been described in detail, the technical framework of the whole system has been carried out, the logic model of the system has been analyzed, and the system design is proposed after comparing with different network application models. And it also based on the three-tier system framework based on WEB design. It focuses on the B/S structure, and a practical solution is carried out.3. With the existed requirements collected from distributors of shanghai Unicom, the thesis focuses on detail description of each function module of DSS system, the procedures of each sub-function module, functional requirements and data requirements, which covers resource inquiry module, commission inquiry module, Billing information module, remind and warning module, customer information inquiry module and statistical analysis module. It also gives a clear definition among functional modules and integration requirements of function modules and external systems.4. The main problems and its solution is briefly described in the thesis, and the performance is then proposed after the system is set up online, together with the improvements that might be modified according to the feedback of the system.
