With the development of the sicience and technology, the demand to the performance, speed, capacity and power of the wireless communication system is increasing. More and more wireless communication services have come into wide use. Recently, Ultra Wide Band technology become the best technology which has more advantages in short distance, high speed communication and is more suitable for the wireless personal area network.The advantages of UWB technology are high speed, high capacity, low power, low complexity, high reliabilities etc. So this technology is special suitable for the indoor wireless environment.Besides those, the development of integreated circuits and signal processing technology make it easy to use.First of all, this paper introduces the advantages, system standards, technology plans and specific use of UWB briefly. Then it presents the structures of UWB system transmitter and receiver. Considering the digital baseband, it shows the research results of interleave/deinterleave and FFT/IFFT modules.It mainly shows present research progress, the system demands, and the motheds of realization from the aspects of speed, power, cosumption.Following, it introduces the whole structure of UWB digital baseband transmitter in detail, including the function and the timing of basic sub-modules.The whole transmitter function and timing simulation results are shown next. Complying with the flow of application specific integrated circuit, it shows the layout of the SoC which including the UWB digital baseband and digital to analog converter. At last it presents the final conclusion and the future work. |
