With the rapid development of model industry, the group of fashion models is expanding all the time. Models, who devote themselves to this career just for young age, are facing the increasingly serious problem of job change and reduction of stuff after retirement.At present, there are only three choices for fashion models as the possibility of job change and reduction of stuff, namely employment, self-employment and being a housewife. Besides, a small number of models lead a parasitic life. Employment and self-employment dominate in these possibilities.Models are confronted such difficulties in their employment and self-employment as low employment rate of normal occupation, low self-employment rate, high employment rate of non-formal occupation. The irrationality of employment structure has deep influence not only on the survival and development of models but also on the stabilization and well-being of millions of models'families. Therefore, to resolve the issue of models'reemployment plays a vital important role in the maintenance of social harmony and stabilization.There are three direct factors, which result in the employment embarrassment in models, namely so called "Three Low", "Low Age", "Low Education" and "Low Humanistic Literacy". With the growing employment pressure in the talent market, these three factors make them lack of competitiveness in the talent marketFrankly speaking, the current model culture is a kind of consumer culture driven by the stimulation of utilitarianism. To some extend, the rapid expansion of model industry is the outcome of the interaction between large technology ruling cliques and mass medium.On the basis of what is mentioned above, the consideration on resolving the problem of models'employment difficulty is put forward in this paper: Consideration 1Basic Approach:The government should focus more on the improvement of industry specifications and supervision so that the problem of "Three Low" could be resolved through institutional methods. As for models, they should improve the talent capital of their own. Beside that, model agencies should also pay equal attention to the utilization and cultivation of models in order to provide service for models throughout the whole course. Consideration 2Primary Approach:The approach should be government-oriented with social participation and under the circumstance the dominant utilitarian model culture could be reformed in the humanistic spirit. As a result, the model industry will be led back to the ideal environment.
