The Research Of Dormitory Interpersonal Relationship Conflicts Among Female Undergraduates

Female college students is a group that cannot be ignore, their physical and mental health affect thecampus harmony. Dormitory interpersonal relationship is the most important relationship for collegestudents,it is just like a red line of college four years life. The quality dormitory interpersonalrelationship, directly affect the physical and mental health, sense of happiness of female collegestudents. This study mainly uses documents, interviews, observations to collect information and data,using Nvivo7.0to analyze interview data. Based on in-depth interview of10female students and5malestudents, analyze the situation, causes, the process of development for female students dormitoryinterpersonal conflict; and to the5male college students for the reference group,comparatively analyzethe difference of dormitory interpersonal relationships conflict between female students and malestudents. This study found that, there are two kind of conflict: explicit and implicit, implicit conflictrelatively affects female students largely; Causes of conflicts including：cultural differences,familyeconomic background, personality factors, cultural conflict, stereotype, life habits, cognitive bias,idealized, emotional, lack of communication and so on.The process of dormitory conflict mainly have three kinds of pattern, the first one that has noperiodic, include six phase: intimate period, contradiction, conflict, cold war period, alienation period,separation period;the second one has that has periodic, include intimate period, contradiction, cold warperiod, and then back to the origin, intimate-contradiction and constantly cycle development, finallystabilized;The third one that has no period,including: intimate period, contradictions,conflicts,negotiation, finally the relation between back close. These findings tell us we should develop the abilityof female students from the school, personal, family and so on.
