Economic-self is an extension of self and an important bond between economicpsychology and behavior. On the one hand, studying economic-self can enrichbehavioral economics and personality psychology.On the other hand, it can help toexplain economic behavirour and economic phenomena in the daily lives of people.Studying economic-self of high school students can build students'economic awareness,develop a reasonable concept of fiscal management and economic behavior, but alsohelp to train high school students a healthy personality.In this study, the author uses the ways of literature analysis, questionnaire survey,and other relevant researches to study the students' economic-self systematically. First,based on literature analysis and questionnaire available for reference, combination ofimformation obtained from open-ended questionnaire, we develop the high schooleconomic-self scale. To determine the elements of high school students ofenconomic-self by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.Thendiscussed the characteristics of the contemporary high school students of economic-selfand investigated the relationship between parental rearing pattern and high schooleconomic-self. Finally we studied the economic self-schemata and the selection bias ofthe cognitive coding of high school students. Taken together, we can draw the followingconclusions from this study:(1) The economic-self of High school students is a multi-level andmulti-dimensional psychological structure. It's divided into economic-self value,economic-self capacity and economic-self efficacy with the three subscales.Economic-self value subscales, including personal values, family values and socialvalues; economic-self ability subscale includes the ability to learn, goal, plan andself-control four dimensions; economic-self efficacy is divided into generaleconomic-self efficacy and special economic-self efficacy two dimensions.(2) The validity and reliability test showed that the questionnaire has high internalconsistency reliability, content validity and construct validity, which could be applied as the middle school economic self questionnaire.(3)The study about high school student's economic-self status and characteristicsresults show that: the high school students' economy-self is in the middle and upperlevels. It is significant differences in gender, region, grades and economic conditions.(4) The relevance research showed that: there were existenced significantlycorrelation between the different parental rearing pattern and high school students ofeconomic-self. The positive parental rearing pattern and high school students ofeconomic-self level were significant with a positive correlation, the negative parentalraring pattern and high school students to economic-self level was significantlynegatively correlated. Parental rearing pattern is a significant predictor of role on thestudents' economic self.(5)High school students have economic self-schemata. The high and low level ofeconomic-self have a different choice preference on the economic vocabulary.
