Language is the most important communication tool, the most abundant nutrients of thinking, and one of the most basic carriers of human cultural heritage. The purpose of the language education lies in enriching students'language accumulation, cultivating their sense of language and developing their thinking abilities to enable students to improve the actual needs of the literacy and write capability, reading, writing and spoken skills, and it is more committed to the formation and development of students humanistic delight in order to make the students gradually form good personalities and sound characters. To achieve this goal, language teachers have to rely on language study and enhance their humanitarian implications, improve their humanity qualities, fully exploit the academic education resources contained in materials, probe into the humanistic spirit in the text, and construct the humane world of students. In view of the present situation of language teachers'humanity qualities, this paper will make a systematic discussion on the humanity qualities of primary school chinese teachers.At first, it talks about the basic definition of humanity qualities from the angle of philosophy, physiology, psychology, pedagogy and sociology. And it also explores the denotative meanings of primary school chinese teachers from three aspects of the traditional basic theory in China, the comparative analysis between chinese and western culture meanings, and the independence of the humanistic spirit in line with social perception.Secondly, this paper researches the current situation of Chinese teachers in primary schools through the field research. By analyzing the data sources, it not only introduces three theories which include the ancient example education in China, Quality Education theory, and the western modern humanism education theories, but also puts forward five elements including humanistic feeling, humanistic knowledge, humanistic character, humanistic spirit, and humanistic action that constitute the humanity qualities of primary school chinese teachers.Finally, it emphasized the civilizing influence of humanity qualities of primary school chinese teachers on primary students from the efforts of the love and care feelings of teaching attitude, the emotional revel of teaching language, the humanistic penetration of teaching procedures, and the effect of spirit and character. In order to promote the professional development and humanity qualities of teachers, it also presents four ways and strategies including creating a humanistic campus environment, developing reading activities of teachers, strengthening more school-based research, and encouraging the reform of classroom instruction.
