Nowadays, Globalization has hit every corner of the world. Countries get touch with each other more closer in all aspects. The interacting between countries in economic, political, cultural and social aspects also put forward higher requirements for talents. New times call for pioneering, innovative, unique talents. Personnel requirements influence on our educational philosophy and educational activities. When reflected in the student evaluation, it requires us to abandon the traditional and conservative concept of evaluation, making difference, diversity, flexibility as the new orientation, expressing the evaluation function of development and promotion, and make contribution for the talent training.Student evaluation is an educational activity and the essence of education is to promote human development. Man is different, so we should recognize and respect the difference of students before evaluating students, then make different evaluation on the base of student difference, and promote development of students through the evaluation. The current evaluation views students as standard parts on the production line. It evaluates students with uniform standard, content and methods. It has neglected the difference and the nature of students, hindering the development and progress of students. This standardized evaluation has lost the value of evaluation. It also has a lot of denounce and abuse, mainly in five aspects. In the evaluation function, it distorts the proper function of promotion and incentive, but replaced by screening function; In the evaluation content, language and mathematical logic are the main contents of evaluation, while the other types of intelligence has been ignored; In the evaluation standards, the only evaluation criteria focused on scores results single standard, and it is ignoring the individual differences and the nature of students; In the evaluation method, the objective written test is dominated and it inevitably ignores the actual problem-solving abilities in realistic contexts; In the evaluator aspect, teachers are absolute and authoritative which leads to the single evaluator. These problems are waiting for solved and improved urgently. Therefore, making a rational examination about the traditional student evaluation and put forward some reasonable suggestions and countermeasures has very important practical significance for easing the current evaluation value-missing phenomenon.Literature research and comparative analysis are the main research methods in this paper. This article is under the guidance of the theory of the human's comprehensive development, multiple intelligences and constructivist learning theory. Through the rational examination of the traditional uniform evaluation, and the reading of the interpretation and value of the differentiated student evaluation, concerning the drawbacks of the current student evaluation, the article has put forward some principles which should be followed in the implementation of the differentiated student evaluation. At the same time, it also proposes some concrete measures. First, we should foster proper environment which is suitable to develop the differentiated student evaluation, creating appropriate atmosphere and encouraging teachers change their evaluation concepts. Second, we must grasp three core dimensions of student evaluation such as classroom evaluation, school assignment evaluation and examination evaluation and establish comprehensive system of evaluation strategy.
