Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Health Education Courses In Elementary And Secondary School

"Children are the future of our motherland","The more capable the youngsters are, the stronger the nation is." Health of students in middle and primary school extend to the future directly.Consequently, school health education plays an important role in health education.In order to promote the students' healthy growth,health education courses in elementary and secondary school is of great importance for students to build up the health consciousness,master health knowledge and develop healthy habits.Since China's reform and opening for 60 years, as an important part of compulsory education,health education have always been ignored with its speed of development far behind that of our education.Factors like less strong administrative safeguard,weak health education courses,unreasonable courses development,insufficient understanding of importance of health education courses and weak teaching sources lead to such problems as increasingly disappearance of independent health education courses,serious subject-centered,unqualified teachers,low teaching quality,insufficient class hours,delayed course evaluation,lack of curriculum resource,insufficient supervision and guidance,students' substandard health knowledge and behaviour.As for the existing problems,clearly defined responsibilities of government,perfected administration,policies and regulations, realization of system,deep understanding of important position of health education courses,broad connotation of courses,optimization of curriculum construction,teachers' professional growth and education network among family,school and society,all of which will help to realize development of health education courses in elementary and secondary school and students' healthy growth.
