| Building a prosperous, democratic, civilized socialism modernization is our goal. The construction of socialist democracy must be based on enhancing all citizens'consciousness of democracy. High school students are in a critical point of the formation of the world outlook, life outlook and the values, thus cultivating their consciousness of democracy has an important and far-reaching significance of promoting all citizens'awareness of democracy, and advancing socialistic democracy construction. The school education advocates high school students'consciousness of democracy, due to the specific of high school ideological and political textbooks, so that it can become a powerful way to cultivate high school students' democratic consciousness.The text is divided into three parts.The first part mainly elaborates the basic connotation and significance of cultivation in senior high school students' democratic consciousness and indicates the necessity and advantage of politics course in senior high school. The second part is the analysis of reasons for senior high school students' weak democracy consciousness on the basis of investigation of high school students'consciousness of democracy. The third is based on the measures of the cultivation of democratic consciousness put forward by some of the major reasons; namely, teaching practice and exploration. |
