Culture is an important topic in modern society, that all the human undertakings can be surveyed from the perspective of culture. In education field, it also provides a broad vision for deepening the new curriculum reform and the reform of classroom teaching.Classroom teaching culture is where educational concepts derive from. The concepts of classroom teaching are deeply rooted in the culture, which decides teachers' teaching philosophy. With the new curriculum reform being in progress, obtrusive shortcomings have been gradually showing up in the traditional classroom teaching culture, unable to adapt to the trend of the times and social development . Without the construction of classroom teaching culture, the new curriculum reform and the classroom teaching reform is destined to formalism and eventually has us return without accomplishing anything. The thesis including four parts as follows:Part one: Introduction. It clarifies the main problem in the research and highlights the importance of classroom teaching culture construction. Then it also briefly introduces the significance of this subject. Related research literatures are collected and analyzed so as to find the breakthrough.Part two: Summarize the classroom teaching culture. Firstly, give definitions to culture and classroom teaching and discuss the relations between them. Then, define the connotation of classroom teaching culture by comparing other related concepts, and expounds its characteristics.Part three: The drawbacks existing in the traditional classroom teaching and its cultural root. It shows the drawbacks of the traditional classroom teaching culture and analysis the cultural roots on the base of considering the drawbacks of the traditional classroom teaching culture.Part four: The construction of classroom teaching culture. It is the last problem discussed in the thesis. This part firstly expounds the theoretical basis of the construction of classroom teaching culture. Then it takes learners culture,teachers culture,dialogue culture,symbiosis culture,exploratory cultural and life culture as the basic content of the new cultural system. The conclusions are reached: strengthening the learner's subjectivity; changing students' learning styles; establishing relation between teacher and students on democratic equal cooperative basis, etc.
