Independent College Student Moral Stat Research

The Independent College is a significant achievement of higher education reform and innovation in our country. The Independent College contributes a lot in developing private higher education and promoting universal education, so it plays more and more important role in higher education. In the Independent College, the current morality status of the students will directly affect the whole college or even our whole nation. Therefore, studying the moral standard in the Dependent College contains key theory and practical significance.In order to understand how well the college students'morality is, by using questionnaires and interviews, we will reveal it gradually. In the survey, we asked 301 students to finish the questionnaire and 5 students to do the interview among three Dependent Colleges in Dalian. As a result, the college students agreed the key role of moral character, which means in general, the moral behavior is good. However, the students are low and weaken in moral cognition and moral feeling, at the same time, knowing but not doing is a prominent problem.In order to resolve the problem thoroughly, the thesis elaborates and analyzes the reasons for the current moral status in the Independent College. Here are the main four reasons-individual morality restrained by the current moral status, individual morality misled by the bad social factors, college moral education lacking and family morality education unreasonable. Just those four reasons affect our Independent College moral education. In addition, they are separately and not co-operate with each other, which results in lower efficiency and poor result the Independent College moral education.Finally, the thesis elaborates the specific methods to improve moral stat of the Independent College from the following aspects-individual morality, public morality, college moral education, family moral influence and cooperation oriented. That is, for the independent college students, we will focus on the individual moral character shaping, public morality improving, family moral education functioning, college moral education perfecting. In the end but the least, from the aspect of cooperation oriented, we will try to find a way to establish this kind of moral education situation-dimension and integration of family, college and society.
