Higher vocational education development has experienced nearly three decades in China.From begining, higher vocational education institutions exist imbalances on college size and funding input scale. Specific performance of this contradiction showed that while the size and funds of higher vocational education schools continue expanding, but the speed of funding input growth rate not as fast as the school enrollment and leading to funding input in higher vocational education funds still persistence of many deficiencies, such as national fiscal funds grow slowly and enterprise funds have been withering.The thesis choose higher vocational education funding input status and income situation of various types of school funding as the main content.Expect to find the key of funding input deficiencies and provide theoretical basis of reform in higher vocational education from analyse statistical data over these years.Firstly, systematically introduce the involved background and theoretical basis of higher vocational education funding input.On this basis, summarize the development of higher vocational education and introduce the college size development status of higher vocational education.The main part of the article based on the educaton funding input data of "China Statistical Education Funding Yearbook " from 2006 to 2008, analyse the changing circumstance of the main source funding input and the funds'contribution to total revenue at the same year. Further contrast and analyse the funding input situation of the central departments and local departments higher vocational institutions in a detail. We found the central and local higher vocational institurions funding input exist obvious difference. Finding out the unreasonable situation through compare the entire and classification higher vocational institutions and summarize the cause of the problems combined data analysis of the thesis. Finally, connect with the problems of vocational education funds propose strategies and suggestions of how to improve our funding input in higher vocational education.
