| As the popularity of high level education and employment system reform, university student employment has become an undisputed problem. Severe employment difficulty and career-oriented education draw university student attention on the influence and significance of school performance on their future employment. This study on the influence of school performance on university students'career development provides theoretical basis for high school education reform and management and also guide the student to establish reasonable knowledge structure and cultivate strong practice skills. This will also help further promote the quality education and provide the employer with a standard talent evaluation system to ensure proper employment and reasonable HR configuration.Based on related theories and studies, this thesis uses questionnaire and interview to do research and compare the results to find out the influence of school performance on student's career development and employment through detailed analysis. After reading through related documents, the author chose Screening Hypothesis and Krumboltz's Social Learning Theory of Career Decision Making as theoretical basis of this thesis and designed the varied school performance indexes. The questionnaire and interview factors include employment difficulty, employment rate, employment quality, and career planning. The student school performance collected is divided into Outstanding, Medium and Bad three groups and student learning features are then analyzed. After knowing the different learning features of the above three groups of student, the author made four hypotheses about the influence of school performance on employment. The hypotheses were then test and verified by questionnaire result analysis and individual interview result analysis. The thesis consequently analyzed and discussed the school performance evaluation methods that meet both social development requirement and talent cultivation demand to suggest students to improve self school performance by paying attention to both school performance and career development. This thesis finally advises students to arm themselves with the concept of learning society so as to facilitate their job application in future.Theme of this thesis caters to social development requirement. It is expected to help high school manager to manage and teach the students purposely and improve student school performance based on individual characteristics and social development and make scientific career plan for favorable employment in future. This will also help employer to judge whether the individual knowledge and skills match with post requirements so as to choose the most suitable employees. |
