The Research On The Problems And Suggestions Of Career Development And Employment Guidance Course In University

Since 1990’s, as the result of college expansion, the problem of university students’ employment has been paid great attention from government, society, university and family. So employment guidance is widely carried out though all of the country. Especially employment guidance course has been set up by university to help students transfer their attitude towards employment. After these years’ development, career planning theories are introduced in China. We attach more and more importance to the career development of students. Thus, Ministry of Education advocates every university should set up career development and employment guidance course in 2007.In the first, this paper reviews the historical vein of employment guidance course, taking history as a mirror. The second, the author analyses the institution of career development and employment guidance course by questioners and interviews towards teachers and students in Inner Mongolia Normal University, Inner Mongolia University, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. The third, on the basis of investigations, the paper summarizes existent problems of this course. In the end, the author combines research materials with individual thought and put forwards corresponding commendation and suggestions to improve the development of career development and employment guidance course.
